Q5’s vision is to give back to the communities we work in. We do this by supporting causes important to Q5ers and creating a positive impact.
The Q5 Foundation allows us to deliver meaningful impact to the communities around us whilst offering our people the opportunity to support causes and charities close to their hearts.
Established in 2020, Pop-Up Consultancy is our pro bono consulting practice for charities and not-for-profits.
Q5 are part of a growing ecosystem of collaboration attempting to shift ourselves, our businesses and society to truly become more equal, equitable, diverse and inclusive.
We work across this ecosystem through both our client work and through our Q5 Foundation, all working on system change to address inequality and bias at every level.
Q5 Futures Taskforce is an annual programme bringing together students from different universities and disciplines from across the UK to explore future megatrends. The Taskforce participates in interactive workshops in our London office, where they share multidisciplinary thinking and insights into the latest academic research.
In 2022, we investigated themes such Purpose Driven Organisations, AI and the Future of Work and The Future of Supply Chains and Business Ecosystems.
The Futures Taskforce is an important component of Q5’s research and development. Its output contributes to how we manage and respond to change in our areas of expertise.

Every summer, we run an application process open to all 15 to 18-year-olds in the UK. We select a panel of up to 14 young people who convene four times a year at our London office or virtually.
From the panel we generate rich qualitative insights about what young people want from their future workplace, which adds to the thinking and advice we provide to clients. Themes like working in a diverse organisation, the importance of purpose, and having individual control over the way one works towards their career goals are some of the pertinent topics we have tackled with the Panel in recent years and which we see more and more businesses facing into.
Panellists gain valuable experience, knowledge about how consulting works, and join the ever-growing network of Youth Panel alumni, connected to Q5 and each other.

180 Degrees Consulting is the world’s largest consultancy for non-profits and social enterprises. 180DC provides high-quality consulting services to social impact organisations, to help improve and expand their services. These consultancy projects are delivered by university students, with the support and guidance of management consultants from various organisations.
Q5 has supported 180 Degrees Consulting since 2018, working with the University of Bath and University of Nottingham. We offer coaching, training sessions, placements, pop-up experience, interview preparation and project support.
We have supported more than 200 students and run numerous training events, providing funding and placement to the students. We are now looking to extend our support to universities with a high proportion of students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.
Q5’s vision is to give back to the communities we work in through supporting causes important to Q5ers and creating positive impact. We aim to extend our core purpose of building healthier businesses globally, to charities & not-for-profits in need of support but without the financial means.
The Q5 Foundation allows us to deliver meaningful impact to the communities around us whilst offering our people the opportunity to support causes and charities close to their hearts.
