Principal Consultants (Middle East)

Full Time

 

Given our track record of successful delivery in the region, we are expanding our work and our presence across the Middle East – with a primary focus on the GCC, in particular: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE.

We combine our global expertise with locally based delivery to get the best results for our clients.

At Q5 we’re focused on Organisational Health, which separates ‘good’ organisations from the ‘great. We work with executive teams globally and nationally to address the 5 key foundations to healthy and high performing organisations.

In the Middle East that means our focus is on delivering great work in the following areas:

1. Clear & coherent strategy tied to a common purpose

A focus on Strategy Implementation. We know that many organisations have already invested in defining visions and strategies – often in the context of national Transformation Programmes. Do you have the expertise and experience to support our clients in taking strategy off the page and super-charging projects, programmes and daily work through to successful implementation and results?

2. Effective and efficient operating model and organisation design

Focus on eco-system-level design within and beyond public sector – robust, right-sized blueprints that align to strategy, minimise duplication, facilitate collaboration and are a living mechanism to aid decision making

3. A proven ability to implement change and transformation

We bring subject matter expertise to support clients to plan, communicate and execute changes that stick. We are experts at catalysing and facilitating cross-department public/private sector collaboration to deliver large scale transformation at pace.

4. Talented people motivated by the right culture and empowered by their leaders

We focus on capability and employability building – at scale and on developing leadership talent within cultural context especially agile, young leaders, female leaders

5. All underpinned by technology, data & insights that align to strategic objectives.

We focus on tech and digital maturity and cyber security – supporting our clients to develop the right tech strategy and operating models to enable constant adaption to new ways of working and changes in the market,

  • Expertise in any of our 5 offering areas above – particularly in the Government, Health, Financial, Education and Energy Sectors
  • A passion for purposeful transformation work
  • The sensibility and skills to work across cultures
  • Commitment to capability building
  • Experience in the region – Arabic language is a big plus
  • Availability to travel/base yourself in region

  • Highly adaptable and flexible thinking style – We often find ourselves working across a variety of contexts and a ‘simple’ challenge turns out to be much more complex than it first appears. You need to be able to quickly join the dots together and develop a plan to move forward. You also need to be able to adapt that plan when it is not working.
