ACWA Power, a Saudi-based power and water developer, aimed to drive rapid growth in renewables, expand internationally, and enhance technological innovation. To achieve these ambitious goals, the company introduced a new operating model centered on a cohesive, ‘one-company’ structure while supporting regional expansion and strengthening corporate functions. Q5 was engaged to deliver a comprehensive change management program to ensure the operating model aligned with ACWA Power’s business objectives.
Q5 assembled a cross-functional project taskforce comprising teams from HR, Finance, Legal, OD, IT, and Communications. Clear governance structures were established for effective oversight, risk management, and progress updates. Change management plans were co-created with each workstream, simulating processes to identify gaps and refine strategies for smooth implementation. Detailed plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocation, were integrated into a comprehensive project roadmap. The change management program was executed with ongoing feedback, monitoring, and adjustments to ensure successful delivery.
