As part of its ambition to ‘open tennis up’, The LTA wanted to review its whole system of tennis coaching and funding to identify areas of underperformance, areas of over/under investment and general opportunities for improvement.
At the time, the coaching offering was disjointed and lacked a clear and consistent strategy, so the LTA wanted to create a model to deliver the maximum possible impact in the future.
"We partnered with Q5 to help us refresh our Coaching strategy as part of our new strategy to 'open tennis up'. They helped us to really understand our strengths as well as factors holding us back. The team brought enthusiasm, pace and rigour and left us with a set of recommendations that we've taken forward in to implementation to great effect."
