At Q5, we’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done through the Q5 Foundation this past year. In FY23/24, we provided pro bono consulting support to 24 charities and not-for-profits, contributing £1 million in expertise. Looking ahead, we’re committed to going even further in FY25/26.

Since launching in 2010, the Q5 Foundation has allowed us to extend our impact beyond our core consulting work creating opportunities for our colleagues around the world to give back through social impact initiatives. By donating our time, experience, and skills, we support charities, social enterprises, and young people in tackling challenges in education, health, economic empowerment, and workplace inclusion.

Our Foundation is built on four key pillars:

Our Pop-Up Consulting programme, born out of the challenges of Covid-19, has since supported over 170 organisations, including Bridewell Gardens, Scannappeal, Adult Literacy Tutors Association, and Healing the Children. We offer our expertise to those who might not otherwise have access to consulting support, helping them strengthen their operations and expand their impact.

A spokesperson from Healing the Children shared:
“The team at Q5 worked seamlessly to help our diverse group of participants (board members, staff, volunteers) collaboratively refresh the narrative, vision, and priorities of our organisation. With key strategies in place to enhance our marketing, fundraising, and donor relations, we’re now positioned to reach new audiences and build long-term partnerships. Working with Q5 was an exceptional experience and will be transformative for our organisation.”

Our achievements over the past 12 months have been driven by the passion and dedication of our colleagues worldwide. Millie Wright, a Consultant at Q5, reflected on her experience:
“Getting involved in Q5 Foundation activities has been so rewarding – it’s a chance to make a positive impact, spread kindness, and bring colleagues together for a greater purpose. It’s inspiring to see what we can achieve when we unite as a team to help others.”

Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on this momentum, expanding our Pop-Up Consulting programme and forging new partnerships to drive meaningful change in the communities we serve.

“Reaching the milestone of £1 million in consulting time is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team,” said Daniel Levy, Head of the Q5 Foundation. “It’s a privilege to work alongside such inspiring organisations and support them in whatever way we can.”

Olly Purnell, Founder and Managing Partner, added:
“What began as a way to keep our colleagues engaged in meaningful work during lockdown has become something of an institution. Hundreds of employees have taken part over the years, and many thousands of people have benefitted from it. I’m incredibly proud of the sheer number of colleagues who contribute to our Foundation’s activities.”

We invite anyone interested in collaborating, partnering, or simply helping us spread the word to reach out to our team.
