Alexander is a senior consultant based in Q5’s London office. The breadth of his experience gives him a versatility that enables him to add value across projects and across industries. He is as comfortable working through the technicalities of an organisation design to engaging with stakeholders to facilitate lasting change. Recent work includes an HR redesign across the Nordics for a global tech company, and planning and executing the implementation of a new department on a nuclear power station build project.
Alexander joined Q5 from an early-stage food company. His role as Managing Director saw him involved in all aspects of the business from day-to-day operations to long-term strategy. Prior to this he wore a very different hat, spending 8 years in the law, focusing on tax and trust planning for private clients.
Alexander has a master’s in business from Oxford University but, as an undergraduate, studied English and Classics at Durham University and is now comfortable admitting his favourite books are all Victorian classics. Originally from Northumberland, his happy place is surrounded by fields and not a lot else, although his Canadian wife is trying to make him love the lakes in Ontario, Canada, just as much.
