David joined Q5 in 2023 and is an experienced industry specialist having worked in industries including Retail, Property, Infrastructure, and IT. Prior to joining Q5, he held in-house roles across companies like Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, Pinnacle Group, and Arcus FM over the course of a 10-year career.
During his time in industry much of his work focused on being a catalyst for change on many levels from organisational strategy, acquisition, continuous improvement, and technology implementation to the turnaround of contracts. He has a unique perspective having run operations at the coal face, worked in head office roles, and done advisory as a consultant.
David recently completed an Executive MBA around work graduating with a Distinction. His undergraduate degree was in Geography at Cambridge. He’s a certified SCRUM master with significant experience of implementation and operation of Agile at scale.
Outside of work he is kept busy by his young family and can often be found in the gym or on his Watt Bike once the bedtime routine is done
