Five Traits of Organisational Success

Five Traits of Organisational Success

The world of work has changed. The traditional model of the organisation has been left behind. At Q5, we’ve been looking at how organisations can change to become more adaptable, responsive and better equipped for the 2020s – becoming a more ‘connective organisation’. We have published our findings in a report that we think will become a guiding light for business leaders who want to know what the key traits of organisational success will be in the future. Download the full report below.

Five key traits of organisational success in the 2020s

Through our latest global research project, ‘The Five Traits of a Connective Organisation –Your Guide to Thriving in the Twenties’, we’ve identified the game-changing attributes required for organisations hoping to thrive in the 2020s. Collectively, these traits help to build the ‘connective organisation’: the successful organisation of the future.

Runners & riders

The report is the result of over 12 months of research. We enlisted the support of over 100 business leaders, representing 64 participating organisations around the world.

We have worked in partnership with academic institutions, as well as the global Organisation Design practices of Q5 and fellow member firms within The Transformation Alliance: Kea & Partners (Paris), h&z (Germany) and MBS Consulting (Italy).

How ‘connective’ is your organisation?

In our report, we dive deep into the connective organisation. We study each of the attributes. We look at the impact of a range of characteristics – in combination with one another – rather than putting forward a “silver bullet”.

As you read our report, we invite you to consider how evolved your organisation is in each of the five characteristics.

  • What have you put in place to give your organisation the best chance of success in an ever-changing world?
  • Reflect on how ‘connective’ your organisation is (and needs to be) and, learning from the examples of others, decide what it is you need to do to truly become a connective organisation.

We encourage you to get in touch with us to discuss the next steps in your journey towards becoming more connective. You can email us at info@q5partners.com or speak to a consultant at one of our offices. Please also let us know if you would like to receive a hard copy of our report. We would love to hear from you.
